Since the late seventies, D.O.A. from the Canadian West Coast metropolis of Vancouver have been among the genre-defining representatives of punk/ hardcore. Since then, the band has released almost twenty studio albums and played thousands of concerts worldwide. Like hardly any other band, D.O.A. are synonymous with uncompromising, consistently left-wing politically motivated hardcore sounds.
